Community Development

The Community Development Team at Avow are highly dedicated to:

"Empower individuals and groups with the knowledge, training and support that is needed to reach their full potential."

With an extensive range of experience and knowledge -The Community Development team can provide support to local communities and voluntary organisations through signposting, up to date information, advice and support in:

· The initial set up of a voluntary/community organisation in terms of governance, procedures and funding

· Training and development opportunities

· Provide networking opportunities for organisations in and around the local area.

· Project/event development and management

· Capital grants (maximum £4,000)

In fact, support and advice on any aspect of running a voluntary or community organisation.
