This Directory has been produced by the Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham (AVOW).It is intended to be a first reference point for patients, carers and professionals when searching for support and services available within the voluntary sector. The information contained within this directory was obtained from the organisations websites or from direct contact, and was correct at the time of going to press.

The inclusion of an organisation within this directory does not imply any recommendation or endorsement from AVOW. The types of organisations included vary from large national charities to small community based organisations run by committed volunteers. Some organisations may have systems to ensure quality standards, or where they are commissioned to provide public services would adhere to the requirements of public authorities. It is recommended that professional making referrals should satisfy themselves regarding quality of provision by contacting the organisations directly.
