Wrexham Over 50`s Forum Committee

The Committee is made up of 12 members all of who are volunteers. From time to time additional members can be co-opted to deal with specific issues/projects.

The role of the Committee is to ensure that the themes within the strategy are addressed and that issues, which affect older people, are identified, widely published for consultation and discussed thoroughly as well as ensuring that the organisation operates good governance.

Committee members as well as general members attend a variety of related meetings i.e. Accessible Wrexham, Health and Social Care Adults Forum, Chronic Conditions, Older peoples programme group etc.

Regular updates are provided to the Committee meetings held every month.

The Forum is seen as a key partner in the development of the strategy and the forming of links with older people throughout Wrexham County Borough.
