Tidy Wales Awards 2011

The Tidy Wales Awards are now open for entries. The presentations will be made at a special ceremony in January 2012 and will recognise groups who have made a major contribution to the cleanliness of their local area during 2011.

Groups and individuals are able to apply for one of the following categories:

• River improvement
  
• Coastline Enhancement sponsored by The Helping Hand Company
  
• Action against Flytipping sponsored by Environment Agency Wales
  
• Woodland improvement sponsored by Forestry Commission Wales
  
• New Community Group sponsored by Valleys To Coast
  
• Community-led Regeneration sponsored by Dwˆ r Cymru Welsh water
  
• Wales’s Best Unstaffed Station sponsored by Arriva Trains Wales
  
• Wales’s Best Staffed Station sponsored by Arriva Trains Wales
  
• School sponsored by John Lewis

The winners of each category will receive a prize of £250 and then compete for the prestigious Tidy Wales Award trophy – the winner of this will receive an additional prize of £250.
