Welcome to the Volunteer Centre at AVOW, the one-stop-shop for volunteering information.

We aim to provide a link between individuals who wish to volunteer and voluntary organisations which need volunteers.

Our role is to:

  • Promote volunteering

  • Provide information, advice & support to help people make suitable choices about volunteering

  • Encourage and work with organisations to develop and maintain standards of good practice towards volunteers

  • Promote the interests of volunteers.

Volunteer Centre Opening Times:

Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm

Friday - 9am to 4.30pm
