Millennium Volunteers Grants

Millennium Volunteers Wales currently has three streams to help organisation get involved in the programme. Delivery Partners and Youth led projects are all grant programmes. If you are looking to get involved without applying for a grant read our Non-Funded Status information.

Delivery Partner Grants

MV also offers grants of up to £8,000 to local and regional organisations who can offer volunteering opportunities for young people to complete their award.

You are invited to make an application if:

  • You are voluntary or statutory organisation, able to offer or develop volunteering for young people aged 16-24 in line with the Millennium Volunteer Programme
  • You meet the safety and quality criteria for the programme

    • Non-Funded Status

    If you already have opportunities for young people to complete the award and don’t require funding why not apply for non-funded MV status? This enables you to run the MV programme within your organisation without receiving a grant. Applications for Non-funded status are ongoing and will be assessed as they are received.
